"As a constituent, I’m calling to urge (your legislator’s name) to oppose the Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act (H.R.4417/S.2019). If passed into law, the EATS Act would have devastating consequences for American farmers and ranchers who will be forced to compete with foreign agribusiness conglomerates, including those based in China and Brazil. Furthermore, the EATS Act threatens our children’s health, compromises food safety, and undermines states’ rights. Please join farmers, ranchers, and our rural communities in taking a stand against the EATS Act. The bill, or any other similar language, must be kept out of the 2024 Farm Bill. Thank you.”
