WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Organization for Competitive Markets, and Competitive Markets Action, released the following statement in response to the media reports that the Linda McMahon, former SBA Administrator, will be nominated as President Donald J. Trump's Secretary of Education:
"We congratulate former Administrator McMahon on the media reports of her potential nomination as U.S. Secretary of Education and know there's no better business mind more well equipped to lead the failed Dept. of Education that countless educators, voters, and Members of Congress believe should be eradicated," said Marty Irby, president at Competitive Markets Action and secretary at the Organization for Competitive Markets. "DOE has failed time and time again, and we hope McMahon's leadership will help the American people see the end of this federal bureaucracy that has caused so much harm to countless children and educators across these great United States."
